Merry Christmas you dorks. Let’s wrap this up with three awesome Frank discs. Thanks for your patience.

Building & Growling

My favorite of the “& Growling” theme. From the liner notes: “A new type of audio experience!!! … You too can be a trend setter if you believe in yourself.”

Laveuse

“Washing machine shit noise inspired by the Pioneer chain saw.”

mp3@320

Idiophone

This feels like a throwback to the era of Telephoune and Traktrain. This time around Frank accompanies himself with a small bell while sort of yawning.

mp3@320

Spiritual Chicken/Hell Garbage

Frank, as the Spiritual Chicken, presents a guided meditation with a singing bowl. It’s brilliant. Hell Garbage throws down solo acoustic microblast noisecore.

mp3@320

Brutal Clown/Dumb Church/Frank Goshit

I seem to have run short of Frank Goshit cassette stuff so I’m going to finish this out with a few of my favorite CD-Rs involving Frank. I only have mp3s ripped of these though, no FLAC, sorry about it.

Brutal Clown is Frank’s old Deche-Charge bandmate Dan Charge doing growls and belching while some old hardcore record plays on his stereo in the background. Dumb Church, this time around, is previously unreleased bedroom noisecore from the 1990s by Andy from Captain Three Leg. Homeboy literally had stuff this good just lying around. Frank screams over loops that I think might be from French lessons on tape.

mp3@320

Apeman/Bien Paraitre split tape

Apeman would be a fitting name for both sides of this, actually.

A Guy In The Car - Hit The Road With Me

A Guy In The Car is sort of the automotive version of Rolling & Growling. Frank has fun screaming in the car, won’t you join him?

FLAC

mp3@320

David Cereghini/Frank Goshit

David Cereghini is going to take a shower and shave his head and tell you all about it. Then Frank, well he makes some kind of noises somehow.

unknown

I literally have no idea what this one is. There’s no text anywhere other than whatever was already on the recycled cassettes they taped over; just this photo. I do know that it came in a package from Frank, though. It’s a nice haunting sort of drone thing with a ghostly suggestion of vocals. Would also pair nicely with Martine Aubut or Malveillance, I suppose.

Today, a trio of suspected Frank Goshit alter-egos grouped here based on their similar presentation style.

John Marrow

John Marrow is stirring a cup of tea just a bit too vigorously.

FLAC

mp3@320

Marcel Cooper

Marcel Cooper is slapping a basketball probably, I only have the sound to go on here.

mp3@320

Martine Aubut

Martine Aubut plays an organ-like drone on a synth while moaning incoherently into a toy echo mic and it somehow ends up sounding like it would have worked great for another Malveillance split.

Wall Master/Donat Lussier

Props to whoever Wall Master is, this is a pretty solid HNW piece. Then Donat Lussier is back, walking along the highway in a much more relaxed mood with a new story for us.

Frank Goshit/Pe Aux du Bètail

Frank is drowning in static, fighting for his life, screaming in pain. Pe Aux du Bètail is fidgeting with a wind-up toy.
