More from the Factotum label, here they are releasing another of the many EAI projects of Bryan Day (Seeded Plain, Bad Jazz, Public Eyesore/Eh? label), working in transpacific collaboration with Toyohiro Okazaki. If you’re familiar at all with Day’s work, nothing will surprise you a whole lot here but neither will you be put off by these soundscapes, some energetically clattering, others meditatively droning. At 60-ish minutes, it’s one of the lengthier Factotum releases I have.
