The Butthole Surfers bootleg that was so good that the band got it released officially. Previous to that, I picked this up at Co-Op Records in Cedar Falls some time in the mid-‘90s. I suspect that store employee Aaron Edwards (RIP) was responsible for this and at least some of the other bootleg cassettes that were available at that store in those days. The track listing of this C-90 differs from the official CD release thusly: the live track “Psychedelic” is not to be found here; in its place, however, are some great demo tracks that I haven’t seen anywhere alse and they’re amazing – check out the Devo-esque cover of “American Woman”.
