Booker & Slappy’s Skateboard Band, the duo of Joe and Jon, and this album, literally span the Ragman years. Joe and Jon started the project pre-Crapper Day, recording two songs that established a formula: alternate lines of lyrics, rhyming with each other, and put goofy little Casio keyboard solos between verses. The early tracks are pretty raw, while the later ones are much tighter, but they’re all mixed together here. The previously unreleased song “Black Screen” and a recording of their Crapper Day performance are added to this file as bonus tracks.
