At some point in the later part of No Consensus’s existence, but before Ruth moved, Joe and Jon put this band together with Ben Echeverria on drums. I think it may have been a vehicle for Ben to learn drums, and I’m not sure if they played any shows, but they did record this album, which I don’t think they ever did any kind of release of at the time. It’s a pretty cool sound: the two guitars (no bass) intertwine in all sorts of dissonant ways; Jon is as semi-unintentionally emo as ever; and Ben’s drumming sounds like large cardboard boxes being thrown down flights of stairs. Some interesting and different twists on songs that would later surface in No Consensus and on Joe and Jon’s solo stuff.
