So I’ve decided to see if I can post another of my songs up here every weekend for a little while. I don’t finish a new song every week, but I have a few that I recorded a year or two ago that I can fill in with.

This week’s selection, “Twisted Pair,” is one of those. It’s a song I wrote, and played many times with both Exit Drills and The Cactus Rats. Here it is presented in the kind of arrangement I could only give it in a recording situation, with extra guitars, a walking-all-around bassline, and even horns. The chunky heavy metal breakdowns in the instrumental “chorus” came off especially tough-sounding. It was recorded in the trailer using Zeke’s drums. As usual, all instruments, lyrics, and recording are all me ;) Enjoy.
